Description

The term tennis can be applicable to lawn tennis or table tennis. Tennis most often refers to lawn tennis which is a game played by two players or two teams that alternate hitting a ball over a net upon an outdoor court.

Table tennis, a scaled down indoor version of lawn tennis, is more commonly known as Ping Pong. While the rules vary greatly between table tennis and lawn tennis there are many similarities between the two games.
