Overview

Astronomy is the branch of physics that studies celestial bodies and the universe as a whole. Astrophysics is a type of astronomy which deals more with the physics of space, such as the laws and forces which govern objects and particles. Common tools used by astronomers and amateurs include telescopes (computer guided/manual, reflecting/refracting), star charts, computers, cameras, and binoculars.
